OTTAWA, Ontario – April 30, 2008 - MOSAID Technologies Inc. (TSX:MSD) today announced that it has completed the sale of 19 patent families, comprised of U.S. patents and applications and corresponding foreign counterparts, to SAtech Group A.B. Limited Liability Company for net proceeds of approximately US$2.0 million. The patents are unrelated to MOSAID's two core licensing programs. MOSAID retains a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty free license under the patents.
