Imagination Technologies Licenses another POWERVR SGX Graphics Core to NEC Electronics
February 7, 2008 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") - reports that NEC Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723), a world-leading semiconductor company, has licensed a second member of Imagination’s POWERVR® SGX graphics core family under a multiple-use license arrangement. The core will be integrated into future NEC SoCs. Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP shipped by partners.
